ABOUT US
Embracing character, infusing personality, and curating objects that tell a story.
My work is all about embracing character. It’s about reflecting the personality of the client, the flair of the city, and the quirky design styles of the home. It’s about striking the perfect balance between old and new, comfort and functionality, kitsch and tradition. All these elements culminates a beautiful cohesive space that tells a story and feels like home.
THE DESIGNER
Meet Leah..
an experienced interior designer with a passion for timeless style. Based in Rogers, Arkansas, Leah is a dedicated mother to twin five-year-old boys and wife to a supportive husband. With 15 years of experience in corporate marketing and communications, she has honed her professional expertise while nurturing a lifelong love for creating beautifully styled spaces.
MY STORY
Growing up, my mom had a special talent for making all the spaces she inhabited beautiful. When we weren’t in school, there’s a good chance you could find us roaming the concrete floors of a local craft store called “The Golden Dragon.” The Golden Dragon smelled like every holiday all at once. The aisles were overstuffed with faux florals and random tchotchkes. It was organized chaos at its finest, my paradise. I attribute my love for oddities and design to these memories. I never stopped seeking out little hole in the wall paradises. Over the years hunting for treasures has gone from a hobby to a craft. Like my mom, I love nothing more than sharing my craft and creating beautiful spaces for myself and others.
After wrestling with the need for a creative outlet, and the desire to share my short-term rental knowledge and experience, I decided to start Resolute. The word is defined as admirably purposeful, determined, and unwavering, which reflects my approach to partnering with clients and executing their design dreams. The tail end of the word “lute” is a little tribute to my Dad, who called me by that nickname.
This new endeavor is for the little girl walking around golden dragon full of excitement and wonder. It’s time to make her proud.
